SA1NT DENIM CARE GUIDE

Built tough. Care for it right.

SA1NT denim is an investment in comfort, style, and protection. Take care of it and it'll take care of you for years to come.

BEFORE YOU WEAR

SA1NT denim is built to be worn hard. It's designed to tell the story of your ride — fading and wearing over time to reflect your experience.

To get the most out of that process, hold off on washing your denim for as long as possible before the first wash. This lets the denim learn your movements and contours, making it uniquely yours.

Prefer to keep that fresh-off-the-rack look? Give it a cold wash with two teaspoons of salt before your first wear to help lock in the colour.

WASHING YOUR DENIM

The best thing you can do for your denim is wash it as little as possible. Detergents strip colour and break down the cotton fibres over time.

When it does need a wash:

  • Spot clean first. Dab stains with a damp cloth or baby wipe. Don't rub — rubbing strips dye from the fabric.
  • Hand wash where possible. It's the best way to keep your denim in top condition.
  • Machine washing? Turn the garment inside out, cold water only, and use no more than one tablespoon of detergent for a full load.
  • Always air dry. Indoors or out of direct sunlight, turned inside out. Air drying minimises colour loss and fabric shrinkage.

TIPS & TRICKS

  • No bleach. No stain removers. These chemicals break down cotton fibres and shorten the life of your denim.
  • No dry cleaning. The harsh chemicals damage and degrade the cotton yarns. Spend that money on your next SA1NT order instead.
  • Use liquid detergent over powder — it's gentler on fabric and won't leave residue on your garment.
  • All denim fades over time. Darker washes (indigo and black) show fading more than lighter washes as the contrast becomes greater.
  • SA1NT denim will experience some wet and dry colour bleeding — especially when new or unwashed. Keep it away from light-coloured furniture and accessories until it's been broken in.
  • Wash darks with darks, lights with lights. Always.
  • To remove odours without washing, simply air the garment out. To speed it up, tumble dry on the lowest setting or use a steam iron.
  • The leather patches on SA1NT denim are designed to fade alongside the denim. That's a feature, not a flaw.

SHIRTS & JACKETS

Wash and iron shirts inside out. Follow the care label and always wash with similar colours.

For jackets, keep washing to a minimum. Spot clean where possible — if a full wash is needed, follow the denim guide above.

Look after your SA1NT denim and it'll keep looking and performing its best for the long haul.
