T-boned a car at 60kph and went down across an intersection. His R6 was written off. His knee was a mess. But he was wearing SA1NT Coretec Jeans — and that changed everything.
"I hit a car at 60kph and landed across an intersection. The armour definitely did its job, and the pants prevented me from getting nasty road rash."
The knee armour took the hit that would have blown his joint apart. The Coretec fabric did the rest — sliding across asphalt without leaving a mark on the skin underneath. No road rash. No skin grafts. Walking out of a crash that totalled the bike.
"No one can believe I got out of that crash alive — and a lot of people, including the hospital staff, were asking where my riding pants were from."
